What Is The Surface Treatment of Furniture Mould

What is the surface treatment of Furniture Mould(FURNITUREMOULD)? What is its role?

Sandblasting, texture and EDM patterns fall into the category of furniture mould surface treatment. These three surface treatment techniques, in which sandblasting and skin particles are used more, have some flame retardant patterns, but not too much. The following is a description of the three processes related to sandblasting, leather and fire protection patterns for furniture moulds.

Sand blasting is to spray quartz sand onto the surface of the furniture mould by a certain pressure air gun to form a frosted surface on the surface of the furniture mould. When the furniture mould is moulded into a product, a matte effect is formed on the surface of the product. Generally, sand blasting is divided into two types: fine sand and coarse sand. For sandblasting, the surface of plastic parts is subject to wear.

The skin texture is made by a chemical water etching method. Textures have the widest variety and can be used to mimic various effects. The price difference of the leather grain processing is very large, and the technical content of the skin texture process is very high. For different skin textures, the price is relatively low.

The EDM pattern refers to the texture left after processing of the EDM furniture mould. For the fire mode, after the furniture mould is discharged, the surface of the product can be flame retardant and accept a pattern of fire. Generally, it is not intentional to manufacture an electrode processing pattern, and the cost is high.

For furniture mould surface treatment technology, we use the most skin texture. Of course, what kind of surface treatment the actual product requires depends on whether or not plastic parts are used.
